Locked Down

We are in a state of lockdown due to Covid so over this last month the truck hasn’t been out. All I’ve done is wash it and pump the tyre up a couple of times as it has a slow leak since it was replaced last month so I need to go back and have it re-sealed.

There are a few of jobs I’d like to tackle but some of them need parts.

  • The injector harness as it has symptoms of oil in the plug.
  • The running boards need rebuilding as they are more rust than metal, this I have started just need the time to finish.
  • The front sunroof motor needs attention as do the drains most likely.
  • The headlining is looking tired and saggy.
  • The gutter trims need replacing as I’ve recently removed the roof rack which broke the trims at some point over the last four years.

So it’s now time to spend some money and get a few jobs done.

Hello world!

Welcome to Late Move. This is our first post about our Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5. In this blog I hope to give you an insight into the ownership, both ups and downs of this ageing Land Rover. This will also give me a reason to update, repair and keep it running whilst learning along the way both about the vehicle and about wordpress blogging.
